In September 2020, Fundación Galicia Europa launched a cycle of online meetings, whose main purpose  was to keep the Galician administration informed about both the initiatives carried out by the EU in response to the health crisis and the funding programmes under the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework.

Now that the recovery process is on track and the funding programmes are being implemented, these online meetings remain as a discussion forum between the Government of Galicia and the European institutions about the European priorities having the highest impact on our region. The green and digital ‘twin’ transition, the impact of demographic change or the State aid reform programme were some of the many topics discussed so far.

The Galician perspective is also reported in each online meeting, thus showing how the requirements at a European level are transferred to our region. In 2025, FGE will continue to organize these meetings following the priorities set out in the European agenda.
